Welcome to T3 The Movement

T3 started when King Teddy brought together Superstar Carmine, Superproducer/rapper Jae Griff, and the King of Rap, Ghetti. If you dont know by now T3 stands for To The Top and that's where we headed. Right now on the lineup we got Carmine, Jae Griff, Get City, Linz-Prag, and Ny$E doin big things right now. T3 is not just about music. Its a whole movement. Were showing the world something new and giving them a taste of how were living and where we come from. Whether it be music or film, rapping or acting, T3 represents diversity and the ability to accomplish the impossible. Little Known Rappers that I enjoy and that you should too...

Hello everybody this is Tony Battle aka Tone B. This is my first real blog I guess so bare with me here. This is a little blog I like to call...well its in the title. Anyway, so in this blog im gonna single out 4 of my favorite rappers who currently dont have the shine that I believe they deserve(not includin T3 memebers of course). Btw Im listenin to Lynyrd Skynyrd as Im writin this... you gotta exand your mind, and branch out. Oh yeah shout out to Chipotle for makin some of the best burritos Ive ever had, and if you cant tell Im eatin one as I type..

First up is G* Two representin the DMV (for those that dont know thats DC, MD, and VA. All of which I have lived in one point or another in my life btw). First off Ide like to shout out G* Two for showin us mad love. Aside from that G* Two's mixtape One Man Army is one of the best mixtapes I have heard all year. YES I JUST SAID THAT! Its better than most mainstream artist's mixtapes Ive heard this year and thats real talk. I must first give credit to my boy Pax for referrin me to G* Two. If not for him I would have never shot him a friend request on myspace nor would have even be blessed to hear his music. Within the first few songs of One Man Army I knew the mixtape was FIRE. In fact even if I didnt listen to the whole tape (which I did actually LISTEN to the whole thing) I would have still been a big fan of his. He spits with fury and even spit over the NWO wrestlin theme song...and it was CRAZY!!! With all this said everyone need to download this tape right NOW!

Download this mixtape here http://www.zshare.net/download/5021830714565c6b/ Its DEF worth it. G* Two should be on everyones radar from now on and especially in 09.

Next up is my is my favorite on this list and one of my favorite musicians (hes not just a rapper, people), Charles Hamilton. Theres not enough I can say about this dude so Ill try to keep it as short as possible. CH (his initials of course) has been puttin out mixtapes every 2 weeks for a couple months I think, and I HATE WHEN HE PUTS OUT A NEW TAPE. The reason why I hate when he puts out a new tape is because after I listen to the newest one I then realize I have to wait another 2 weeks for another one to drop. Its like literally crack callin me sayin "Tony, Tony, listen to me over and over". This dude is THAT crazy on the tracks. His ideas are on genius level to say the least. He as an affinity for Sonic the Hedgehog and what comes with that are a lot of songs cleverly made with samples from the various Sonic games. This dude is sure to blow up in 09 so be on the lookout for him.
This is the cover of his second mixtape American Gangster V.2.0 (Where Is Charles Hamilton?)
I wouldnt say this is his best mixtape, but this just shows you how looks can be deceiving. You can download most of his mixtapes here http://itsaworldpremier.blogspot.com/search/label/charles%20hamilton

Third on my list is Curren$y. Some of yall might remember he was signed to Lil' Wayne's label Young Money for a while up until earlier this year. He has since left Young Money and is now with Fly Society and is still doin big things. He was puttin out 1 mixtape a month for mojority of this year, and has recently taken a hiatus from the mixtape game to let people marinade on his previous ones. He IMO is one of the hardest workin rappers besides Gucci Mane (FREE GUCCI!), and Lil' Wayne. Curren$y's nick name is "the Hot Spitta" and for good reason. He has some crazy lines that are easy to miss simply because his flow is so laid back and relaxed. This may sound like a bad thing to you, but this is one of the reasons he caught my attention. Im a laid back dude myself so its easy for me to get his lines with out missin a beat. Curren$y shows with mixtape after mixtape why he caught the attention of the self proclaimed "best rapper alive" Lil' Wayne, and for that reason he should catch your attention too if he hasnt already.

You can download all of Curren$y's mixtapes at www.mixtapetorrent.com and www.datpiff.com

Last but not least is Asher Roth. YES! Asher is a white dude, but why does that even matter? Eminem proved that hip hop has no color and Asher is doin the same thing. Some people may say he sounds like Em, that may be slightly true if judgin by the sound of his voice, but he has his own unique style that puts him above most rappers. Both Asher and Em show why hip hop is so great, becasue they are minorities in the game and are some of the best lyricist the genre has to offer. Asher is so good he caught the eye of DJ Drama and has a mixtape hosted in part by him. Thats pretty big considerin Asher isnt that well known from what Ive seen, and it only goes to show you how good the man is.

Just look at that cover. If thats not reason enough to want to hear what he has to offer then I dont know what is. You can download his current mixtape here http://www.mixtapetorrent.com/drama-don-cannon-asher-roth-greenhouse-effect

Wow, I think I prolly wrote way too much, but oh well at least Im gettin my point across right? Anyway until next time take it easy. Bless

*Peace and Happiness*
